Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Stability Act (the “CARES Act”) Passed Senate with Unanimous Vote

On Wednesday night, March 25, 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Stability Act (the “CARES Act”) (H.R. 748) passed the Senate with a unanimous vote.

Title I of the 880 page bill (Sections 1101 through 1114) provides for the payroll loan / grant program covered by this website.

These sections are also referred to as the “Payroll Loan Act,” and the “Keeping American Workers Paid and Employed Act.”
